AUR 2, Campus Bio-Medico 0

By Elsa Bernhardt & Madison Kennedy

The AUR Wolves secured a 2-0 victory over Campus Bio-Medico to get revenge for last season’s heartbreaking championship loss to the same opponent.

The two goals were scored by Greta Bair, and then Emma Obetz to make it three wins in a row for the spring semester.

The Wolves showed composure from the first whistle, setting the tone for the whole match.

Both sides showed great passion in the first half. Campus Bio-Medico’s defense fought hard to break AUR’s rhythm, while their players proved to be a formidable presence.

The Wolves defensive structure remained disciplined. Morgan Rademacher produced several crucial saves and controlled the backline with confidence, preventing any scoring opportunities and launching strong distribution plays to reset possession.

Bair made the breakthrough in the second half, with the opening goal to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead. Shortly after, Obetz stunned the opposition with a phenomenal sliding finish through defense to extend the lead 2-0. Despite a brief injury scare for Bair, AUR maintained focus and composure to secure an exciting win.
