AUR Wolves 4, Rome City 6
AUR fell to a tough 6-4 loss to Rome City. Despite stretches where the Wolves looked like the better side, Rome City’s finishing and momentum swings were ultimately too much to overcome.

The match opened evenly, with both teams having opportunities early. AUR especially stood out, with Julian Hee dominating with a few close shots in goal. The wolves did an excellent job positioning the field as well.
Alessandro Giusti scored the first goal for the Wolves putting them ahead with a 1-0 lead. However, Rome City quickly turned things around, which changed the match. The opposing team equalized with a long free kick from near half that slipped through the goalkeeper’s hands, to tie the game.
Shortly after, again Rome City added another goal with a smooth left-footed roller into the back-right corner to make it 2–1. With pressure mounting, the opposing team stuck again with a 3-1 lead. The Wolves however, did not back down.
Before halftime, Julian Hee gave the Wolves a spark when he received a pass from the corner and fired a low shot into the bottom-left corner, cutting the deficit to 3–2 and keeping AUR firmly in the match.
For a moment, it felt like AUR had seized control after an impressive comeback. Trailing 4-2 early in the second half, the Wolves responded with urgency and determination. Hee delivered one of the standout moments of the match, ripping a shot into the upper-right corner to bring AUR within one.
Soon after, one of the Rome City players beat his defender and calmly slotted the ball home to level the match at 4-4, completing the comeback and shifting the momentum.
But just as AUR looked in command, Rome City found another gear late.
Rome City struck again with a low shot that slipped through, then added one more shortly after to seal the 6-4 result. In the end, AUR showed resilience, quality, and fight, but Rome City’s clinical edge in the decisive moments made the difference.
